Smith Brooke was approached to remodel a London home for a growing family. These clients wanted a home that could comfortably accommodate their young family, as well as being a space to entertain guests and to house their collection of art.

Our challenge was to create spaces that could be multifunctional, that could suit the daily necessities of a young family, but could equally work as more formal, efficient spaces for entertaining friends and family when required.

In a conservation area, this three-storeyed terrace house was granted planning for a new ground floor side extension, housing the new kitchen, and an additional second story to the rear outrigger, providing additional space for the family.
